A Bond of Trust
There is nothing quite like the loyalty, friendship & love between a man and his canine companion - a mutually beneficial relationship that is as irreplaceable as it is unexplainable. It is this bond that serves as the inspiration for RED DANE. We want our clients to have that same unwavering trust in our products: a relationship built on reliability, integrity and performance.
Our Ethical Commitment: Cruelty Free & Vegan
As an animal-friendly brand, we never test on animals, only on human volunteers. Our ingredients are ethically sourced, vegetarian, and 100% vegan-friendly across the range, with three specific exceptions:
Restoring Eye Cream, Beard Balm and Beard Wax contain trace amounts of ethically harvested beeswax, a superior natural ingredient for skin protection and texture.
Note from the Founder: Africa-First Innovation
"When I moved to beautiful South Africa from North America, I noticed a significant gap in the market. Despite located in one of the most biodiverse and resilient regions on Earth, there were no premium skincare brands made exclusively for men and formulated for the unique challenges of the African climate. Everything was imported; nothing was built for this sun, this dust, or this intensity.
Drawing on my marketing & product development career working on some of the world's largest personal product brands, I set out to create something truly South African. I wanted to showcase the untapped power of African botany to the rest of the world. To do this, I merged my passion and international training with the expertise of South Africa's leading biochemists and a botanist fluent in African phyto-chemistry.
The result is RED DANE. High performance grooming that bridges the gap between world class science and the most resilient ingredients on the planet. We don't just make skincare, we provide 'molecular resilience' straight from the source."

In Loving Memory
Achilles inspired the founder to give life to this brand, he was a powerful & protective dog, loyal & fun. They had a deep and extraordinary bond. Sadly on April 1st 2017, we had to say goodbye to Achilles. Achilles the Boerboel will be sorely missed by all those who laid eyes on him.
